London’s National Gallery, one of the world’s foremost art institutions, is itself portrayed as a brilliant work of art in this, famed director Frederick Wiseman’s 39th film documentary.

In the film, Director Wiseman portrays the workings of the museum and the joy of spending time with the masters, such as Vermeer, Caravaggio, Titian and Velázquez, Pissarro and Rubens, while eavesdropping in on connoisseurs who discourse upon the aesthetic, historical, religious and psychological underpinnings of these masterpieces.

Reception with live music and cash bar at 5:30pm. Screening begins at 6pm, and includes an intermission.
