Marketing on a Shoestring Workshop

The Arts & Cultural Alliance. in collaboration with The Preservation Society of Newport County, will present “Marketing On A Shoestring,” an informational workshop aimed at helping artists and craftspeople get the word out about their work, on Tuesday, December 7, from 12 pm to 1:30 p.m. at The Preservation Society of Newport County, 424 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI. The workshop is free and open to practicing artists & craftspeople in Newport County. Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.

Marketing is vital when it comes to generating more business. But when funds are low, shoestring marketing is the best way to go. What’s the best way to get the word out about your art or craft without spending a year’s worth of profits? How can you get free publicity? Join us for a panel discussion with tips from the experts. Learn now to make the best use of social media like Twitter and Facebook, and how to write and submit a successful press release. This is a “Must Attend” event for any artist or craftsperson.
