October 2016 Arts Around the Fire

Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00-8pm
Salvation Café’s Post & Beam room at 140 Broadway in Newport

The new season of Arts and Cultural Alliance’s monthly networking event, Arts Around the Fire, begins with Josh Short, Founding Artistic Director of The Wilbury Group and director of the Providence Fringe Festival.  Josh will discuss his plans to develop an offshoot of the Festival in Newport. Find out how you can participate and help introduce Josh Short to Newport’s arts community.

Arts Around the Fire is an opportunity for artists, writers, performers and arts patrons to engage with colleagues about events and accomplishments in the Newport County cultural community and learn about new ideas and good work being done.  Arts Around the Fire features a cash bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres donated by Salvation Café and an informal atmosphere where artists and art lovers can connect.  The Alliance thanks Salvation Café for their hospitality.

Sign up for a free membership or become a supporting member of the Alliance, a coalition of individuals and non-profits committed to the advancement of arts and culture in Newport County.  Please join us, free, utterly informal, no reservations needed.

The next Arts Around the Fire will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Details TBA.
