The Arts & Cultural Alliance of Newport County promotes and advances arts & culture for the benefit of the community.
Established in 1994, the ACA—a member-supported organization—offers support, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities for artist members.
One of the ACA’s key tasks is to help guide the interconnection between creative or cultural contributors and various opportunities presented by businesses, schools, donors, audiences, events, commissions and others.
What We DO
Present annual Artist Awards, Tinney Family Arts Scholarships, Dominique Awards, and The LeRoy White Soul & Conscience Award to Newport County artists/musicians that enliven our community
Serve as a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor for Newport County artists soliciting tax-deductible donations and grant funding for arts projects that benefit our community.
Promote supporters announcements in the monthly ACA e-newsletter, SPLASH.
Share information about member artists, businesses or organizations with artists, musicians, educators and arts organizations of all kinds.
Host meetings and seminars to support and promote new ventures, including Arts Around the Fire, Arts Behind the Scenes, seminars and lectures.
